Take care of your mental health

in Proof of Brainlast month

For those who follow PobTalk you can notice the huge decrease in my frequency both in interactions there, as in rewards, so much so that I changed the way it works so that I could continue to keep it working.

Those who follow my posts may also notice in the last month, especially the last two weeks, a drop in post production as well.

This is due to a number of personal issues I've had (and some I'm still going through), but which I wouldn't want to expose here (not at the moment), as I feel there's still a lot to work on internally for me to externalize this.

And I'm doing this post to register an important moment for me on the blockchain. In 12 hours I will go to my first session at a psychologist. But I don't know how it works, I've never attended one.

I hope he can help me understand many things I'm going through and that I can find solutions to the problems (at least part of them would be a great help).

I know that a consultation lasting an hour cannot solve all the problems, and I will probably have to come back more often, but this is a first step. And it needs to be given for the next ones to happen too.

So I would encourage anyone who is experiencing a problem that cannot think and find a solution, try visiting a psychologist.

I don't know how it works in your country, here there is a public health system (expensive and inefficient) that provides you with a psychologist to assist you, but there is a high demand and a huge waiting list.

I'm going to fund this first session with my resources so I can see how it works and what it can help me with.

p.s.: Monday and today I played a little basketball, it's been 6 years since I've stepped on a court, in addition to the gym, basketball is also being a great ally both physically and to distract the mind a little.

Mental health is extremely important. I can understand you are feeling low, it's best to talk to some expert who can listen to you patiently and then guide you in the right direction. Sometimes discussing your problems with others helps. It makes you feel lighter and stronger at the same time. There's a lot of emotional baggage I believe you are carrying right now, don't worry, it happens to all of us someday or the other. It's about how you deal with it. You have taken the right call to see a psychiatrist and not ignoring it. I'm sure that will help you come out of it sooner.

No health without mental health! A person with good mental health will feel in control of their emotions, have good cognitive functioning and positive interactions with people around them. This state allows a person to perform well in their studies and in family and other social relationships. As a mental health advocate I notice that young people often won't seek professional help on their own, because of embarrassment, a fear that the mental health professional will think negatively about them, or negative attitudes of their own. Instead young people will turn to their parents or friend for help. You've taking a right decision by seeking help from clinical psychologist. Have a sound mind!

Sei como é isso tudo cara, passo pela mesma coisa, e esse mês em especial tem sido um mês particularmente difícil, muito difícil, e creio que o mais complexo seja exatamente conseguir conciliar com a necessidade de se manter ativo e eficiente aqui no Hive e Pob. Tem dias que isso é impossível e o máximo que consigo fazer é manter os votos da curadoria. Tenho tentando organizar e conciliar essas situações pessoais com as necessidades virtuais pouco a pouco. Sorte e sucesso na jornada, se precisar conversar chama no whats, as vezes é bom só desabafar.

Falar pra tu Thomas, nunca tinha ido a um psicólogo, e após essa primeira viagem bem sucedida sinto que deveria ter ido antes mais vezes. Estou melhorando, ainda não sei se farei ou não uma postagem sobre essa minha melhora, acredito que quando eu sentir que é a hora o farei.

Mental health is a very integral part of a good and healthy mind. If the mental health is bad then your life and mind cannot be positive or move towards a positive direction.

You have made the right decision by seeking mental help and I really feel proud of you for that move you made. That was very wise and thoughtful of you.
